Mr Zhang Huifeng
Head of Corporate Sustainability Asia Pacific, The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited

Mr Zhang Huifeng is the Head of Corporate Sustainability Asia Pacific The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited Mr Zhang Huifeng joined HSBC in 2005. As the Regional Head of Corporate Sustainability Asia Pacific, he oversees the Bank’s sustainability strategy in the region. This include community investment in future skills, climate change, sustainable finance, community service areas. His team is also working closely with the whole sale and retail banking businesses to promote sustainable finance and investment within the Bank to support the development of low carbon economy.

Before joining HSBC, Mr Zhang had worked at BNP Paribas and ABN AMRO in trade finance and corporate banking area. His prior experiences also include 7 years project management and consulting for World Bank and Asian Development Bank financed projects in China. Mr Zhang has a MBA degree from Manchester Business School, UK.

 

 

 

Ms Leonie Kelly 
Director, Head of Sustainable Investment Consulting, Ogier Global

Leonie Kelly leads Ogier Global's Sustainable Investment Consulting team to private equity firms, asset managers, institutional investors, family offices and foundations working to integrate ESG and impact factors into operations and investment processes, and to navigate sustainable investment policy and regulation. As a respected voice in the industry with more than 13 years' experience as an expert in sustainable finance.

Prior to joining Ogier, Leonie was a Partner at Sustainable Finance Initiative Asia focused on building an investor platform to promote the growth of sustainable finance in Asia and mobilise private capital for positive impact. Leonie was also previously Head of Impact Innovation & Investment at the Zoological Society of London where she led the development of the world's first Rhino Impact Bond. At Deloitte LLP she principally worked across sustainability and impact advisory projects for financial institutions, corporates, charities and social enterprise.

She is an advisor to Sustainable Finance Initiative Asia, a member of the Securities & Futures Commission Climate Change Expert Group, and an advisory board member of LumiVoce.

Leonie is a Fellow of the Finance Innovation Lab of London, and holds a MSc in Environment & Development from The London School of Economics & Political Science, and a BA in Economics and Geography from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.

 

 

 

Ms Yasmine Djeddai
Head of Sustainable Finance, Asia Pacific at Société Générale and Co-Chair of the Sustainable Finance Working Group, The European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong

Yasmine is the Head of Sustainable Finance for Asia Pacific at Societe Generale, based in Hong Kong. Her team focuses on origination and structuring of sustainable financing solutions, as well as on supporting its clients to accelerate the development of innovative solutions and new business models that deliver positive impact.

Yasmine has more than 16 years of international banking experience in structured finance and advisory, notably in Natural Resources and Export Finance. More recently, she has been involved in numerous Green, Social and Sustainability-Linked financings across industries and asset-classes in Asia Pacific region.

Yasmine actively participates in a number of regional ESG initiatives and working groups. She is Co-Chair of the Sustainable Finance Working Group of the European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.

She is also member of the Green & Sustainable Loan Committee of Asia Pacific Loan Market Association (APLMA), Green & Sustainable Banking Working Group of Hong Kong Green Finance Association (HKGFA) and the Sustainable Finance Working Group of Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association (ASIFMA).

Yasmine holds a Masters Degree in Management from the Institut des Mines - Telecom Business School, Paris. She is certified by the European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS) with the CESGA certification (Certified Environmental Social Governance Analyst).

 

 

 

Mr Pat-Nie Woo 
Partner, Head of ESG - Hong Kong, Global Co-Chair, Sustainable Finance, KPMG IMPACT, KPMG China

Pat is a Partner at KPMG China, the Head of ESG practice in Hong Kong and the Global Co-Chair for Sustainable Finance for KPMG IMPACT.  He also leads the Sustainable Finance practice in Hong Kong and is very active in developing the ESG landscape for Hong Kong and international financial centres in the region.

Pat has been active for over 15 years in the field of sustainable development. Since 2018, Pat has chaired two working groups on the development of ESG strategy for Hong Kong for the Financial Services Development Council. The working groups have issued two policy papers during his term and the recommendations made aiming to catalyse the development of the sustainable finance market in Hong Kong have been well received. He is also a member of the steering group on developing green finance for the Greater Bay Area.

Dr Calvin Lee Kwan
Head – Sustainability & Risk Governance, Link Asset Management Limited

Dr Calvin Lee Kwan is currently Head of Sustainability at Link Asset Management Limited, manager of one of the world’s largest retail focused real estate investment trusts. He oversees the execution of a world-class corporate sustainability program, encompassing strategy, operational efficiency, culture development, thought leadership and policy advocacy. He is also responsible for translating and communicating these efforts to the growing body of ESG-focused investors globally, positioning Link as a sustainable and responsible investment.

Innovation is Dr Kwan's passion. He has been a pioneer of sustainable finance, issuing Hong Kong’s first green bond in 2016, followed by the global real estate sector’s first benchmark sized convertible green bond in 2019. He connects Link's long term ESG performance with financial incentives in the form of sustainability linked loans.

Dr Kwan is a member of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative’s (UNEPFI) Investment Commission, and co-chair of its Property Working Group. He is responsible for steering the group’s efforts on contemporary global business issues including developing TCFD-compliant reporting methodologies, measuring positive impact and COVID-response risks and opportunities.

As an adjunct associate professor at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, he nurtures future generations of sustainability professionals, teaching post-graduate courses in environmental policy, corporate sustainability and directs a business sustainability focused research group in the Division of Environment.

Dr Kwan earned a BS in Business Administration and Biochemistry from the University of California, Riverside, Master and Doctorate degrees in Environmental Science and Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, an EMBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern and HKUST and is currently completing a JD at Chinese University Hong Kong.
