  • Representative Biography
  • Ellie Tang is currently Head of Sustainability at New World Development Company Limited, responsible for integrating sustainability into the Group’s business operations and risk management, with an aim to deliver an artisanal living experience.

    Ellie’s sustainability experience covers strategy and planning, environmental management, community investment, ESG reporting, carbon credit project development, environmental health research, technology deployment, and stakeholder management. She was previously the Asia Pacific Coordinator of the global, USD100m “HSBC Water Programme”, a public-private partnership to improve fresh water availability and sanitation, policy support, and community livelihoods.

    Ellie graduated from Emory University and holds an MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University in the U.S. A holistic sustainability practitioner, Ellie is also a certified health coach, a Rotarian, and a marathon runner.
