Business Environment Council Announces Board of Directors for the New Term

Hong Kong, 19 April 2018 - Business Environment Council Limited 商界環保協會有限公司 (“BEC”) held its Annual General Meeting on 17 April 2018 and announced the election of its Board of Directors for the new term from 2018 to 2020. Mr Richard Lancaster was elected as the Chairman.

“It is my honour to serve BEC as the Chairman for the second term. On behalf of the Board, I express my gratitude to all retired Board Directors for their support and contributions during the past two years and extend a warm welcome to the new Directors joining us.” BEC Chairman Mr Richard Lancaster said.

“In this past term, I am proud to witness BEC contributing a number of forward-thinking and impactful suggestions towards facilitating environmental excellence in Hong Kong, to government policy through regular and ad hoc submissions to the Government. BEC welcomes the measures that have been taken, and will continue to play its advocacy role in promoting the business case for environmental excellence.” Mr Lancaster added.
