Assistant Manager / Manager – Membership


We are seeking a high-calibre and experienced individual to join our Membership, Events & Communications Department to drive expansion of the BEC Membership portfolio. The membership program is a critical platform on which BEC engages the business community and garners support in achieving its mission.

Job duties:

  • Devise, evaluate and implement acquisition and retention strategies of BEC’s corporate membership programme
  • Responsible for achieving BEC’s membership programme related targets
  • Drive new marketing initiatives and optimise existing programmes to achieve membership growth objectives
  • Identify new channels and partners to extend the reach of BEC programmes
  • Formulate strategies to strengthen communication of BEC’s values and work to members and prospects
  • Oversee programme operations to ensure top-notch customer service is provided to BEC members
  • Drive for continual system enhancement to ensure needs of the membership programme and fellow system users are met
  • Provide professional support to BEC colleagues as needed



  • Tertiary educated with at least 8 years’ experience in corporate membership development, CRM, database and loyalty marketing
  • Creative individual with strong ability to conceptualise, drive and test new marketing ideas with the goal to develop new channels and campaigns that bring positive results
  • Experience in B2B marketing with a strong customer orientation
  • Possess ability to influence/persuade; desire to be successful and willingness to embrace change
  • An analytical problem solver with a strategic mindset
  • Mature and results-oriented with ability to motivate and mobilise others for support
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in both English & Chinese
  • Immediate availability will be desirable
