EcoPark, Hong Kong's first recycling-business park, has been operating since 2007. Situated in Lung Mun Road, Tuen Mun, with a site area of 20 hectares, it provides a total of 14 hectares of rentable land to the recycling industry at affordable costs with a view to encouraging investment in advanced and value-added technologies. In the upcoming event, BEC is pleased to have Ir Dr Keith LAI, Environmental Protection Officer, Waste Reduction and Recycling Division of Environmental Protection Department and Mr. Edward LI, Support Facilities Manager of Urban Property Management Limited to introduce how EcoPark encourages the development of recycling industry in Hong Kong and promotes the practice of turning waste into resources. Representatives from three waste recycling operators in EcoPark, namely Mr. Kenny LING, EHS and Security Director, and Ms. Joanne CHEUNG, Business Development Manager of Li Tong Group, Mr. WONG Yiu Kwong, Operation Director of Champway Technology Limited, and Mr. KWONG Bau To, Deputy General Manager of South China Reborn Resources (Zhongshan) Company Limited are also invited to share their experience in turning waste to resources. |
