The 2017 Chief Executive’s Policy Address will be released on 18 January 2017. BEC has invited Ms Christine Loh, Under Secretary for the Environment, to meet with BEC members and provide first hand update on the policies related to environmental protection and sustainable development set out in the Policy Address, as well as exchange views and opinions with BEC Board Directors and the wider audience.
In September 2016, BEC submitted a paper, entitled “Transitioning to a Low Carbon and Circular Economy”, to the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR Government, which outlined our views and recommendations on further enhancing Hong Kong’s environment and sustainability. The paper is available on BEC website.
Please join this Policy Dialogue Series, which provides a unique opportunity for BEC members to discuss environment-related issues pertinent to Hong Kong, understand more thoroughly the policy direction and initiatives of the Government, and to express views and opinions from the perspective of the business sector.
