Chief Executive Mrs Carrie Lam’s first Policy Address was presented on 11 October 2017.
Mr CW Tse, Under Secretary for the Environment, will meet with BEC members shortly to provide a first hand account of the policies related to environmental protection and sustainable development set out in the Policy Address. The briefing will highlight the Government’s policies related to climate change, energy, transport, waste management, green finance, and urban development amongst other topics.
The event will enable an exchange of views and dialogue between the Government and BEC Members and Board Directors, including in relation to BEC’s submitted recommendations to the Chief Executive. Our recommendations are available on the BEC website here.
Please come along and join this Policy Dialogue Series event, which provides a unique opportunity for BEC members to discuss environment-related issues pertinent to Hong Kong, understand more thoroughly the policy direction and initiatives of the new-term Government, and to express views and opinions from the perspective of the business sector.
