Business Environment Council and the European Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong jointly host a breakfast seminar on green building standards, sharing with you an overview of four leading green building rating systems that are defining sustainability in the built environment today. Expert speakers will introduce and analyse the respective standards and provide insights into the application of each system within the Hong Kong context. The green building standards explored will include LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) from U.S.A., BEAM (Building Environmental Assessment Method) from Hong Kong, WELL from U.S.A., and Passivhaus from Germany. The presentations will be followed by lively discussions with audience engagement on the challenges and opportunities facing the green building scene in Hong Kong.
