Paris, renowned as one of the world's leading sustainable cities, hosted the most sustainable Olympics last year. To explore the post-Olympic planning of the city, as well as its green buildings, waste management initiatives, innovative sustainable technologies, and to exchanges ideas with local experts, Business Environment Council (“BEC”) is organising the Sustainable City Lights: BEC Paris Tour from 18 to 24 May 2025.

Tour Highlights

Meeting with the Sustainable City Task Force of the Mouvement des Entreprises de France (“MEDEF”), the largest business association in France, to exchange ideas between France and Hong Kong.
Engagement with the Olympic Delivery Authority (Société de Livraison des Ouvrages Olympiques, “SOLIDEO”): Learn about their experiences and challenges in preparing for the Paris 2024 Olympics and visit Olympics facilities.
Interactive guided tour at Schneider Electric’s Innovation Hub: Discover the latest sustainability and efficiency technologies and enjoy a networking lunch with experts.
Visit to Veolia’s Mery sur Oise Drinking Water Treatment Plant and Monthyon Waste-to-Energy Plant: Understand the technologies and operations supporting the daily lives of Parisians.
Visit to Saint-Gobain Tower: Experience interactive terminals in its showroom, delve into Saint-Gobain’s 360-year history and achievements, and tour the Paris metropolitan business district.
Meet the LVMH Group at Vallée de la Millière: Discover the group’s LIFE 360 strategy in a 30-hectare biodiversity haven, just under an hour’s drive from Paris. Participants will also have the chance to visit to the iconic Sephora Champs-Elysées store, recently renovated with a variety of environmental and sustainability features.
Lunch and learn session with PALO IT: Insights on the latest sustainability trends in France and how tech integrates into sustainability.
Visit to Notre-Dame de Paris: Learn about the five-year restoration journey of this iconic landmark, which was reopened in December 2024.

Fee:	BEC Members: HK$41,500 – special all-inclusive package HK$32,000 – without flight tickets Non-BEC Members: HK$43,500 – special all-inclusive package HK$34,000 – without flight tickets The packages include: Group round-trip direct economy-class flight tickets (Hong Kong-Paris) via Cathay Pacific Airways (special all-inclusive package only) Single-room accommodation with breakfast in a 4-star hotel Local transportation Group travel insurance Lunches during tour times Two individuals requesting a shared room can enjoy a discount of HK$4,500 per participant. Both registrations must be submitted together, and the shared room request must be indicated on both registration forms.

Participants should arrive in Paris before Monday 19 May, as the core itinerary begins that morning. Final cost will be confirmed upon flight tickets and hotel booking.
