The world needs to step up efforts to reach carbon neutrality and the only way to do this is by working together. This includes finding new ways of creating partnerships between the public and the private sector to come up with concrete solutions for the green transition. Hong Kong has recently launched its Climate Action Plan and Sweden is pioneering the green transition through the “Fossil Free Sweden” initiative which works as a platform for public-private partnerships. In this seminar you will get insights into how Sweden has worked to create concrete roadmaps for the green transition in 22 different industry sectors. You will also hear industry experts discuss possibilities and challenges ahead for the transportation and consumer goods industries in Hong Kong. The keynote speech during the seminar will be given by Secretary for the Environment Mr Wong Kam-sing.
