Senior Project Officer (Contract)

BEC is executing a project which aims to reduce the carbon emission for around 120 primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong. The scope of work shall include carbon audit, school engagement programme and green building certification. We are now looking for a passionate Senior Project Officer to join our team to help execute this exciting and impactful project.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist other team members in delivering projects and helping to ensure quality deliverables by the team while meeting the timeline
  • Coordinate and liaise with clients and vendors
  • Conduct carbon audit for beneficiaries
  • Manage BEAM Plus submissions
  • Prepare materials for meetings, proposals and other submissions / presentations as needed
  • Review technical and engineering submissions from vendors
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, or related Engineering disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably with carbon audit / green building certification submission experience
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Positive working attitude; well-organised with good coordination and communication skills
  • Proven organisational and multi-tasking skills, attention to details and capacity to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, proactive and energetic team player
