Officer / Senior Officer – ESG Strategy

We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong interest and knowledge in Sustainability Reporting, Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainable development to join a team that assists private and public organisations of varying sizes in improving their sustainability performance. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the ESG Advisory team in the provision of strategic guidance and advice to clients and stakeholders on improving sustainability performance
  • Prepare materials for meetings, proposals and other submissions / presentations as needed
  • Contribute to the writing, editing and proofreading of reports in English and Chinese
  • Conduct stakeholder engagement sessions as part of the Sustainability Reporting process in English, Cantonese or Putonghua
  • Assist other team members in delivering projects, helping to ensure quality deliverables by the team while meeting the budget and timeline
  • Coordinate and liaise with clients and vendors
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Environmental Management, Sustainability or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 1-year relevant work experience
  • Possess the passion in environmental management / sustainability as a career and the drive to promote sustainability as a corporate value
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is required
  • Self-motivated, a good team-player with problem solving skills, ability to multi-task, flexible and work under pressure
  • Proficient in MS applications such as Excel and PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
  • Pleasant & outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
  • Direct project experience in sustainability reporting, stakeholder engagement, carbon foot-printing, proposal writing, report presentation an advantage
  • Proven organisational and multi-tasking skills, attention to detail and capacity to meet deadlines
  • Candidates with proven experience, qualification and track record may be considered for the Senior Officer position
