We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to manage a team that delivers advisory projects related to environmental management and award programmes. We are looking for a strong communicator with both excellent writing skills and experience in this area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate, direct and execute environmental and sustainability projects for various clients including Government and private organisations
- Compose consultancy and funding proposals, develop and secure business with existing and prospective clients to meet financial targets
- Direct and manage team members in carrying out projects and ensure quality deliverables by the team while meeting the budget and timeline
- Keep up to date on market developments and trends to provide expert input on topics relating to environmental issues in Hong Kong
- Special duties as assigned by CEO or his delegate
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Environmental Management or related disciplines
- 15 years relevant working experience with at least 8 years at management level and with a relevant network in Hong Kong
- Professional qualification such as HKIE, HKIQEP an advantage
- Ability to build and maintain relationships, to understand client needs and to deliver on their expectations
- Extensive knowledge in environmental related issues, particularly in circular economy and decarbonisation
- Strong understanding of the private sector and experience in business development as well as managing advisory and funding projects
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership and problem solving skills
- Versatile with ability to work under pressure
- Bilingual in English and Chinese, both written and spoken
- Candidate with less experience and qualification may be considered for the position of Manager
