The Team of Policy and Research aims at driving positive policy changes on sustainability through pioneering research and projects related to Hong Kong businesses, as well as bridging dialogues between the Government and local business sector. We are looking for highly motivated individuals and team players with an interest in sustainability and environmental issues. You will acquire the skills of policy research and analysis, gain valuable networking opportunities, and obtain key insights into the sustainability industry.
Candidates who are available for at least 3 days a week are welcome to apply with a CV and preferably with a cover letter. Please state availability in the application. Standard duration of internship is 8 weeks, extension subject to mutual confirmation. Daily transportation allowance will be provided during the internship period.

Major Responsibilities:
- Support and deliver projects and initiatives related to BEC’s environmental focus areas, on topics such as climate change, circular economy, and sustainable living environment
- Support the team in conducting research, writing reports, analysing data, communicating findings, and engaging stakeholders
- Support advisory group meetings and other related activities
- Support BEC events and activities
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary
Requirements:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree or above in any discipline, with a preference for majors in Environmental Policy, Public Policy, Environmental Management, Sustainable Development, Economics, Geography, or Urban Studies
- Interested in environmental, sustainability and public policy issues
- Detail-oriented with good organisational and problem-solving skills. Capable to deliver tasks in a timely manner
- Good communication skills. Good written and spoken English
- Proficient in MS applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Eligible to work in Hong Kong
