Business Environment Council Limited (“BEC”) organised its biannual signature event “BEC CEO Dialogue” on 10 September, attracting leaders, professionals and experts from various industries of the business sector to join.
With the theme of “Innovation in Real Estate for our Resilient Community and Net-zero Future”, Ms Christina Hau, Chief Executive Officer of Champion REIT, was invited as our distinguished guest to exchange views with Mr Simon Ng, Chief Executive Officer of BEC, on integrating innovative strategies in the real estate sector to enhance climate resilience of the community, and how pioneering real estate innovations can support the development of a more resilient community and drive progress towards a net-zero future.
Mr Simon Ng said, “In Hong Kong, buildings account for approximately 90% of electricity consumption and over 60% of greenhouse gas emissions.
