Project Assistant (Contract)

BEC is running a project which aims to actively engage with stakeholders in the construction and property management sectors to gain a comprehensive understanding of the latest best practices and innovation solutions for effective low-carbon and carbon neutrality management within these two sectors. The scope of the project includes engagement with sectoral stakeholders, development of carbon management guidelines and good practices for the sector, engagement with the sector and development of a recognition programme. We are now looking for a passionate candidate to join our team to help execute this exciting and impactful project.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparation of project deliverables of high quality
  • Assist in stakeholder engagement meetings in English, Cantonese or Putonghua
  • Contribute to the writing, editing and proofreading of reports in English and Chinese
  • Coordinate and liaise with clients and partners
  • Prepare materials for meetings, reports and other submissions / presentations as needed
  • Provide operational support for this project
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Environmental Management, Sustainability or related disciplines
  • Knowledge in environmental-related issues, particularly in decarbonisation
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is required
  • Proficient in MS applications such as Excel and PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
  • Self-motivated and a team-player, with excellent communication skills
  • Versatile with ability to work under pressure
  • Work hard and play hard
