Business Environment Council (“BEC”) held its “10 Years+ Member Appreciation Session” on 11 March 2025 to recognise and show appreciation to seven member organisations who entered their 10th or 20th year of BEC membership. The session was hosted alongside the new member certification presentation for February and March 2025.
This year’s ceremony marked a significant milestone for BEC, as it proudly welcomed an increasing number of member organisations, bringing the total membership count to over 300. Acknowledging the significant growth, Mr Randy Yu, Chairman of BEC Communications and Membership Committee, expressed his gratitude to all long-standing members for their continued support. He said, “Our members’ dedication to achieving environmental excellence is truly exemplary. To date, we have surpassed the milestone of 300 members, with an impressive 92 members having been part of the BEC community for ten years or more. Their continued partnership and engagement have been instrumental in shaping BEC's success and driving sustainable business practices for a net-zero Hong Kong.”
The “10 Years+ Member Appreciation Session” is an annual event held by BEC to show appreciation and express gratitude to long-standing members for their enduring support. It also exemplifies the organisation's dedication to empowering business leaders to leverage their influence in addressing environmental concerns and improving overall environmental performance, thereby collaborating to tackle pressing sustainability challenges.
