Ms Olivia To
Senior Vice President (Sustainability) Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Invest Hong Kong

Olivia To is Senior Vice President (Sustainability)Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Invest Hong Kong, the government department responsible for attracting and facilitating foreign direct investment into Hong Kong. She is a sustainability professional specializing in climate change and green technology.

She is an engineer by training, certified carbon auditor, carbon trader and WELL AP. In her previous role at the Environmental Protection Department of HKSARG, she worked with directorates to prepare Hong Kong’s Climate Action Plan 2050 and carbon accounting.

She holds a master’s degree in environmental engineering and management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a bachelor’s degree in Global Environmental Studies from the Education University of Hong Kong. She also serves as a Committee Member of the Energy Institute. As a rescue diver, she continues her passion in marine conservation at leisure.

 

 

 

Ms Alice Suen
Managing Director, Head of Sustainable Finance and Transition, Hong Kong, The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited

Alice Suen is the Managing Director, Head of Sustainable Finance and Investment, HSBC Hong Kong. She engages with Hong Kong’s broad sustainable finance ecosystem on behalf of HSBC Hong Kong, looking for opportunities to leverage HSBC’s capabilities and market position in Hong Kong to support sustainable market development and deliver new solutions to address Local, Regional and Global needs.

Having worked in the financial services industry for almost 20 years, Alice has a wealth of experience across frontline relationship management, business strategy, and people management. She has a dedicated focus on Greater China Business, and she has previously worked in Shanghai and the Greater Bay Area.

Outside of her professional career, Alice is an enthusiast in ESG-related volunteering activities. She has also run full marathons for charity and completed a trek in Indian Himalayas to raise fund for social and environmental causes. She is a mentor in HKSAR’s Strive and Rise Mentoring Programme supporting junior secondary students from under-privileged family for two consecutive years.

Alice graduated from University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management, with a Bachelor Degree in Commerce.

 

 

 

Mr Ronald Young
Head of Sustainable Banking Development, Hong Kong Monetary Authority

Ronald is Head of Sustainable Banking Development at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. He is responsible for the formulation and implementation of policy to promote sustainable banking activities and facilitate the banking sector’s management of climate related risks.

Prior to his current role, Ronald was Head of Sustainable Finance for Asia at a major international bank based in Hong Kong, leading the bank’s sustainable banking activities in the region including strategy formulation, client engagement, transaction structuring and risk management. During his time as a financier, he was an active contributor to the sustainable finance community, playing leadership roles in industry associations, championing improvements in market standards, and engaging in campaigns on capacity building.

Ronald has over 20 years of experience in international banking, finance and investment based in New York, London, Hong Kong and Singapore, focusing on sustainable finance and transactions in the energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors.

He received a BS in Economics with a major in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a BSE in Civil Engineering from the same university. He is a CFA charterholder.


 

 

Mr Victor Cheng
Director, Sustainability, Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park

Victor joined Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park (HSITP) in 2024 as the Director of Sustainability to lead the development of net-zero roadmap, stakeholder engagement and shared value creation.

Victor assumed various global and regional executive roles with multinationals. Prior to joining HSITP, Victor oversaw the global sustainability strategy for a Fortune 500 fashion and wearable technology company with a presence of over 32 countries. He spearheads a net zero transition strategy for the 40 years old global brand.

He has been a prominent advocate for sustainable development and regional collaboration of his presence in multiple market segments - green tech, material science, retail and manufacturing.

He received a master’s degree in Business Administration from Imperial Business School in 2015 and a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology from University of Toronto in 2000.

 

 

 

Mr Leo Chan
Investment Vice President, Audacy

Leo is an Investment Vice President at Audacy, a leading investment manager based in Asia Pacific dedicated to investing in climate technologies. To date, Audacy has invested in thirteen portfolio companies focusing on energy efficiency, transportation, and industrial decarbonisation. Leo has over 9 years of experience in sustainability and climate investments, where he worked in New York and Hong Kong. Prior to joining Audacy as a founding member, Leo was an investment professional specialised in clean energy infrastructure investments in North America and APAC. Leo holds a Master’s degree in Energy Policy & Finance from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management and Technology from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

 

 

 

Mr Chao Liu
Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Jiangsu SuperPanther Power Technology Co., Ltd.

He holds a Master's degree majored in Automotive Engineering from RWTH Aachen University in Germany followed by his Bachlor's degree from Tsinghua University. He founded SuperPanther, a global Heavy-duty eTruck tech firm, in early 2022, backed by global leading venture investors such as Sequoia China and Xiaomi Shunwei capital. The company has successfully launched its first eTruck variant "Black diamond" in China with independent development of all key technolgoies and suprb energy efficiency. Working together with customers, the company will launch the eTruck in Europe in 2025.

Prior to founding SuperPanther, he served as Executive of the Continentnal AG for Business Unit of Commercial Vehicle China. With over 15 years of experience in core components for commercial vehicles and intelligent connected vehicle technologies, Mr. Liu brings deep industry expertise and global perspective to the company’s leadership.

 

 

 

Ms Lit Ping Low
Group Sustainability Director, DFI Retail Group

Lit Ping Low is Group Sustainability Director of DFI Retail Group, a leading Asian retailer operating a portfolio of well-known brands across six key divisions: health and beauty, convenience, food, home furnishings, restaurants and other retailing. 

With over 20 years of experience on climate change and sustainability issues, Lit Ping is currently working across the organisation to develop and integrate sustainable practices into our day-to-day operations, as well as lead the design and implementation of key initiatives to enhance sustainability awareness. Previously she was with PwC as their Asia Pacific Climate Lead Partner, providing advisory services to governments and companies on sustainability strategy and implementation.


 

 

Mr Peter Lee
Chief Sustainability Officer, Airport Authority Hong Kong

Mr Lee is the Chief Sustainability Officer of the Airport Authority. He supports, guides and advises the Authority on the formulation and implementation of long-term sustainability strategies that encompass environment, social, governance, and climate resilience at corporate level. He also leads and manages all environmental matters related to the planning and implementation of the Expansion of the Hong Kong International Airport into a Three-Runway System, which is to maintain Hong Kong as an international aviation hub at the heart of Asia Pacific region. Before joining the Airport Authority in 2012, Mr Lee has over 20 years’ experience in environmental and engineering consultancy, leading and managing the EIA studies for a number of major infrastructure and urban development projects. Mr Lee is a founding fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Qualified Environmental Professionals and the Secretary General of the Marine Ecology Enhancement Fund and the Fisheries Enhancement Fund.

 

 

 

Ir Barry Lau
Head of Building Services, Technical Services & Sustainable Development, Swire Properties Limited

Ir Barry Lau is the Head of Building Services, Technical Services & Sustainable Development at Swire Properties Limited. He is responsible for formulating the corporate decarbonization and energy saving strategies within Swire Properties to pave way for the company in advancing towards a net zero future and technical support to the company’s operation across Hong Kong and Chinese mainland. He leads engineering team to manage energy saving strategies implementation, Retro- commissioning,  implementation of monitoring-based commissioning across portfolios for deep energy saving,  digitalization and establishment of cloud-based energy management platform across global operations. 

Barry also led Sustainability Development for the new projects including set-up target, project management of Sustainability consultant and innovative solution implementation for existing and new portfolios

Barry is Chartered Engineer, a Fellow Member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and Institution of Mechanical Engineers. He is committee member of Assessment standard for Photovoltaics, Energy Storage, Direct current and Flexibility (PEDF) system in buildings in Chinese Mainland (T/CABEE 055-2023)
 

 

 

Mr Fabrice Bayon
Managing Director, PALO IT

Fabrice Bayon is an executive manager and a top 5 Executive MBA graduate from HEC Paris, with 20 years of expertise in developing and implementing innovative, profitable, and sustainable policies. At PALO IT, he helps organizations transform their ideas into digital value-added products, offering a tailored end-to-end approach with rapid delivery to market.

In addition to his role at PALO IT, Fabrice serves as a Board Member of the Hong Kong & Macao Chapter of HEC Paris Business School. He also holds multiple positions at the French Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, including Councilor and President of the Digital Innovation Committee, where he oversees the chamber's activities and shares insights on digital innovation and market trends.

 

 

 

Mr Bryan Ha
Head of Public Policy, Amazon Web Services

Bryan Ha leads the public policy work of AWS in Hong Kong, with overall responsibility for policy, regulatory and government relations matters in Hong Kong. Before joining AWS in late 2022, Bryan was a directorate officer in the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. During his 18-year government career, Bryan formulated and implemented policies relating to external affairs, innovation and technology, public finance, elderly care, vocational education, and district administration, including two overseas postings in Berlin and Washington D.C.

Bryan studied and worked in the U.K. and Germany from 1995 to 2004. He holds a Master of Engineering in Computing (first class) from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, and worked as a software designer/engineer at Deutsche Börse and Nortel Networks. Since early 2024, Bryan serves as a Co-Chair of AmCham’s I&T Committee. He is also a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, and a Full Member of the Hong Kong Computer Society.

 

 

 

Mr Harry Ma
Deputy Director of Civil Engineering and Development, HKSAR

Mr Harry Ma is the Deputy Director of Civil Engineering and Development Department of the HKSAR Government, and is responsible for the overall management and administration of the department.  Mr Ma is an engineer by profession with over 30 years of experience in the civil engineering industry.  He has been working in different government departments and possesses experience in a wide range of development and infrastructure projects.  He is now leading the development and adoption of innovation technology and construction digitalization in works projects of the department.

 

 

 

Ms Priscilla Lin
Sustainability and Strategy Manager, Schneider Electric (Hong Kong) Limited

Ms Priscilla Lin is Sustainability and Strategy Manager at Schneider Electric (Hong Kong) Limited, where she leads the development of sustainability strategies and collaborates with customers to meet their climate commitments through technological solutions. Prior to this, she worked in corporate sustainability consultancy, advising businesses on strategy formulation, disclosures, and stakeholder engagement.

Ms Lin also has extensive experience in the international non-profit sector, focusing on public and youth engagement in sustainable development, reducing social inequalities, and addressing climate change through global citizenship education. As a climate advocate, she has participated in the 26th, 27th, and 29th UN Climate Change Conferences and mentors youth climate projects. Outside of work, she raises awareness of community solar and climate-friendly food systems.
 

 

  Mr Stephen Au Yeung

Head of Sales and Operation and Business Development, Shell Hong Kong Limited

Stephen brings over 10 years of commercial and operation experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Head of Sales and Operation and Business Development at Shell Hong Kong Limited, he plays a key role in driving strategic initiatives and fostering low carbon energy solutions, such as the recent renewable diesel (HVO) projects with AAHK, HACTL, HAS and Morden Terminals. Stephen holds an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and is an adviser of the Mobility and Logistics Advisory Group for Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation. He is committed to helping clients and partners decarbonize through the use of cleaner energy and innovative technologies.


 
 

Mr Anthony Yan
Senior Staff Scientist, China Everbright Green Technology Innovation Research Institute

Anthony Yan holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from City University of Hong Kong and is certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt and Intellectual Property Management Professional. With more than ten years of experience guiding products from laboratory concept to commercial launch.

His current work centers on advanced green technologies, carbon asset development, and ESG driven solutions. In parallel, he spearheads the company’s expansion into overseas environmental protection markets, particularly across Southeast Asia.


 

 

Mr Ivan Choi
Vice President of Belt and Road Strategy, i2COOL Limited

Ivan Choi is the Vice President of Belt and Road Strategy at i2COOL Limited, where he leads strategic business initiatives and regional development in alignment with the One Belt One Road policy. He is focused on expanding the company’s presence in the Middle East and ASEAN regions and driving growth across industries such as architecture, power & telecom, and logistics.

i2COOL is pioneering the future of electricity-free cooling with innovative technologies like passive radiative i2Coatings and i2Films, designed to enhance energy efficiency and promote sustainability across sectors. The company is at the forefront of green innovation, transforming how the world approaches cooling in a warming climate and mitigating the urban heat island effect.

Ms Yolanda Chen
Immersion Cooling Fluids Business Lead, Shell China

Yolanda Chen is currently Business Lead for Immersion Cooling Fluids business for Great China for Shell Group. With 10+ years’ experience in multiple business and projects in Shell, she is able to provide strategic directions and guidance on current immersion cooling fluids business, aim to help data centers to reduce their Power Usage Effectiveness, also a concrete action taken by Shell Group of its net-zero commission commitment.

 

 

 
 

Mr Owen Wong
Assistant Vice President, Mobile Product & Solution Development, HKT

Owen has over 30 years of experience in the ICT industry. With a strong background in engineering, product management, and business development, he specialises in integrated IoT solutions powered by 5G and M2M private networks. He leads a team of product and consulting professionals who leverage cutting-edge technologies to deliver tailored solutions that empower enterprises to optimise operations, enhance connectivity, and achieve measurable business outcomes while meeting ESG goals.

 

 

 

Mr Armstrong Cheng
Assistant Director (Forecasting and Warning Services), Hong Kong Observatory

Armstrong Cheng has been working in the Hong Kong Observatory for about 30 years, spending most of the time in the forecasting and warning services focusing on service delivery.  He led his team to develop dissemination systems, including the popular “MyObservatory” mobile application, to enable weather warning and forecast bulletins to deliver to the public, media and special users instantly.  Mr Cheng also participated in technical commission of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), a United Nation agency whose mandate covers weather, climate and water resources, leading expert team members to develop and operate the WMO World Weather Information Service and Severe Weather Information Centre websites that increase the availability of authoritative warnings and information related to extreme and potentially high-impact weather, water and climate events.


 

 

Ms Suki Han
Assistant Manager – Policy & Research, Business Environment Council

Suki is an Assistant Manager on the Policy & Research team at BEC. She has 8 years of experience in sustainability consulting, stakeholder engagement, and policy research. Currently, Suki leads research initiatives on climate change and renewable energy while promoting BEC’s Net-zero Carbon Charter and supporting programmes among businesses. Before joining BEC, Suki worked with a range of clients across different sectors on sustainability issues in the US and Hong Kong. Her responsibilities included researching international renewable energy policies, developing sustainability strategies and reporting, providing assurance services, and enhancing ESG rating performance. She has actively participated in international climate change negotiations and policy development as a delegate and Course Instructor for Duke University's U.N. Climate Change Negotiations Practicum. Suki holds a BS degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master of Environmental Management degree from Duke University, and an MBA degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.


 

 

Prof Fei Chen
Associate Head and Professor, Division of Environment and Sustainability, HKUST

Fei Chen is a Professor and Associate Head of the Division of Environment and Sustainability at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Prior to this role, he spent over 26 years at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR, USA) and led projects to develop the community Noah and Noah-MP land/hydrology models and coupled WRF numerical weather prediction and regional climate models. These modeling systems have been widely used at international operational weather prediction centers. His research interests and expertise include understanding land-atmosphere interactions and their impacts on regional weather and climate, and urban extreme weather and climate resilience. He has published over 230 peer-reviewed articles. He is the Co-Chair of the UN World Meteorological Organization’s World Weather Research Programme (WWRP) Urban Prediction Project, and the Scientific Steering Group member of the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) My Climate Risk Lighthouse Activity. He was an Elected Board Member of the International Association for Urban Climate (IAUC) Board. He is elected to the Fellow of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) in 2013, Fellow of the American Geophysical Union in 2024, and received the 2018 Helmut E. Landsberg Award from the AMS.


 

   
 

Mr Samuel Monschein
Director of Business and Strategy, Intensel 

Samuel is the Director of Business and Strategy at Intensel. Graduating with a Master of Science in Finance from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2021 and joining Intensel the same year. He has focused on assisting clients in analyzing financial impacts associated with the physical risks, as well as enhancing Intensel's product offerings and features.


 

 

 

Mr Woody Chan
Senior Manager - Sustainability, Link REIT

As Senior Sustainability Manager at Link Asset Management, Woody Chan oversees the strategic development and communication of Link’s sustainability framework. Most recently, he spearheaded the first ever Sustainability-Linked Insurance renewal in APAC, establishing Link as a thought leader in climate resilience and sustainable finance.

Prior to joining Link, Woody established the CSR & Sustainability team at foodpanda, where he pioneered a reusable food packaging initiative for food delivery. Woody has also led projects at CWR, one of Asia’s leading think tanks on climate and water risks, honing his skills in research and analysis.
