Mr Nicholas Ho Mr Ho assumed the post of the Commissioner for Belt and Road on 1 September 2023. He is leading the Belt and Road Office under the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau to formulate overall strategy and spearhead policy in taking forward Hong Kong's full participation in the Belt and Road Initiative, and to promote the connections with relevant sectors, thereby strengthening Hong Kong's role as a functional platform in the Belt and Road Initiative. Before joining the Government, Mr Ho was a registered architect in Hong Kong who had held senior positions in an international architectural practice for the past ten years and was appointed Chair of the firm from 2020. He had led a number of Belt and Road related projects involving smart cities development and green buildings construction. Mr Ho represented Hong Kong, China on the APEC Business Advisory Council from 2017 to 2023 and has good exposure in representing Hong Kong at different fora, locally and internationally.

Mr Dennis Wu Mr Dennis Wu is an ESG Certified Professional (“ESGCP®”). He has nearly 30 years of experience in the financial industry focused on alternative asset management (including PE, VC, Mezzanine, Real Estate, Special Situation and Principal Investment, etc.) and investment banking, and 10 years of experience in ESG, sustainability and related capacity building. He also focuses on green and healthy buildings, environmental consultancy, green finance, green-tech, impact investment, sustainability advisory. Currently, Mr. Wu is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of AEC Group (a HK listed company; Stock Code: 8320), Founding President of Greater Bay Area Carbon Neutrality Association, Chairman of Hong Kong Private Equity Finance Association, a member of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) Working Group, and a Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) member. In addition, he is admission panel members for Hong Kong Science and Technology Park (HKSTP)’s incubation program and Tech300 by The City University of Hong Kong. On top of that, he is a Green Tech mentor for startups for many technology challenges. He is also leading Green Technology partners in ASEAN countries and the Middle East Region. Mr Wu is also the Founder and CEO of AEC Capital Group focusing on sustainable finance, real estate and investment management. He is currently serving as a member of Environment and Sustainability Committee under Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, a co-opted member of Infrastructure Rating System Committee of Hong Kong Green Building Council and a member of the ESG Committee of the Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies. He is also former Co-Chair of Green and Sustainable Private Equity Working Group under Hong Kong Green Finance Association . Outside Hong Kong, he contributes to Net Zero Readiness Framework development as WorldGBC Asia Pacific Net Zero Collaborator. Moreover, he is a professional trainer in the areas of Green Technology, Green Finance, Climate Transition, ESG, and Carbon Neutrality.

Mr Chaturont Chaiyakam Born in 1969, Mr Chaturont Chaiyakam graduated with the Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Thammasat University before getting his Master’s Degree in Business Studies with Distinction from the Massey University, New Zealand. He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1993 and subsequently was posted in the Thai diplomatic missions in Sri Lanka, Japan, Cambodia, the Netherlands and Qatar. He has also served as the Director of Passport Division at the Department of Consular Affairs and thereafter as the Deputy Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs prior to being appoint the Consul-General of Thailand in Hong Kong in late 2022.

Mr Travis Kan Travis Kan is the Director of Schneider Electric Hong Kong, leading the Digital Energy, Power Products, and Industrial Automation divisions. With the vision to empower the development of a more sustainable city in Hong Kong, Travis is driving energy management development and digital transformation, being a trusted partner to deliver solutions towards carbon neutrality. Travis possesses a wealth of experience in the energy industry, he is currently the Chairman of Energy Institute (UK) Hong Kong Branch. Travis is also a member of the Engineering Discipline Advisory Board of Vocational Training Council (VTC), the Energy Transition Advisory Group of Business Environment Council (BEC), the RCx Registration Committee of Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) and the Industry & Technology Committee of Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC).

Mr David Fishman David Fishman is a Principal at The Lantau Group, where his areas of expertise cover regulatory and economic intelligence for the Chinese power sector, including solar, wind, coal, nuclear, hydro, transmission grid, and power markets. His specific project experience includes Chinese power market and policy intelligence and forecasting, solar and wind tariff policies, renewable asset transactional due diligence, China business matchmaking, and green power procurement support for multinationals operating in China. Prior to joining TLG, David was a Managing co-director and shareholder of the nuclear energy-focused consultancy Nicobar Group in Shanghai. He holds a joint MA from Johns Hopkins SAIS and Nanjing University in International Relations and Energy Policy. He is a native English speaker and fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Mr Alex Sun Alex Sun currently serves as Chief Sustainability Officer of Envision Group, and President of Global Integrated Energy Service Business Unit. He led the team to provide customers with Net-Zero solutions including carbon measurement & reporting, wind-solar-storage-charging, green electricity and RECs trading, supply chain sustainability management and product carbon footprint analysis. He led the team to initiate the industry standards and best practices for the Net-Zero Industrial Park, the Net-Zero factory, the Product Carbon Footprint and serve more than 300 foreign and domestic corporates as well as local governments and managing the total amount of carbon emission over 1 billion tons. Alex Sun was CEO of TOTAL-Envision Energy Service Company, which was led by him to grow into Top 3 China's industrial and commercial distributed PV investment company. He completed the first non-recourse project financing of 500 million CNY in 2021, which was also the first green loan for China's industrial and commercial distributed PV projects. Prior to Envision, Alex was Project Director with McKinsey & Company and received the MBA degree from Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern university in US and Engineering degree from Shanghai Jiaotong university.

Mr Boyong Wong Boyong Wang is the China Director of Smart Freight Centre. He joined Smart Freight Centre in 2014 and set up SFC China operation. He has been devoting to global logistic decarbonization, initiated Zero Emission Freight Initiative and Smart Freight Shippers Alliance in China. Boyong previously worked as Senior Project Manager for Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency (SDC) in China working on low carbon city development, and managed EU FP7 projects on carbon awareness within the transport sector. Graduated from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies in Bologna and Washington DC, Boyong returned to China in 2003 and has since developed into an experienced project manager working for EU China cooperation projects and international development institutions. He managed EU China Village Governance Project, EU China Information Society Project and EU Asia Business Roaming Project from 2003 until 2013 for 10 years before he joined SFC in 2014. Boyong has extensive experience in collaborating with government agencies and building cooperation amongst cross-sector stakeholders. Boyong is very enthusiastic about the freight sector and working on building an efficient zero-emission freight globally.
