Mr Harold Yip
Co-founder, Secure Information Disposal Services Limited

Mr Harold Yip has been in the paper making and recycling industry for almost 20 years.  He is the co-founder of Secure Information Disposal Services Limited (SSID) www.ssid.hk in 2009.  Secure Information Disposal Services Limited (SSID) is an award-winning waste management company.  SSID has launched Mil Mill, www.milmill.hk, in 2019, which is the first pulp mill and education center in Hong Kong to recycle beverage cartons. Mil Mill has also launched MilCycle in 2025 to provide closed loop recycling service of hand towel.

In 2024, Mr Yip has set up another new venture ArgoGo Green Tech to recycle all natural fiber wastes.  The new venture adopts an innovative technology with the target to set up operations across all Asian countries.  It has successfully set up the operation in Macau in 2025 to process used playing cards which are incinerated mostly.

Before, Mr Yip had been working as Executive Director of Fook Woo Paper which is the largest paper recycler in HK at that time, to lead its IPO.

Before working in recycling industry, Mr Yip has been working for several multinationals including Double A as General Manager, Lyreco HK as Managing Director and Jardine Group in senior manager position.

 

 

 

Mr Donald Fung
Manager – Risk Management and Sustainability, HACTL

Donald Fung is the Manager – Risk Management and Sustainability at Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl), where he contributes to advancing environmental performance and strengthening operational resilience across one of the region’s most significant aviation logistics hubs. His work spans a broad range of sustainability disciplines, including waste management, climate change, corporate social responsibility, and both environmental and operational risk governance.

Hactl is a world renowned cargo handling agent. Operating the single largest cargo handling facility in the world, it is Hong Kong’s foremost independent handler, providing services to 100 of the world’s best known airlines together with over 1000 of their freight agent customers. As the city’s largest independent air cargo terminal operator, Hactl plays a leading role in driving sustainability within the aviation logistics sector.

Donald holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Master of Science in Environmental Management from The University of Hong Kong. At Hactl, he leads and supports initiatives in enterprise risk assessment, waste and resource optimisation, climate related risk evaluation, ESG reporting, and CSR programme development.
