BEC is looking for a motivated and passionate individual with an interest in environmental management to support the delivery of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust-funded JCSMART Programme, which promotes school food waste treatment and capacity building in the education sector.
This is a full-time contract position until 30 September 2027.
Major Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day implementation of the JCSMART Programme, including liaison with schools and service providers
- Assist in organising training sessions and school activities, including invitations, registration, materials preparation and follow-up
- Assist in preparing project documents, meeting notes, reports and presentations
- Maintain project records, participant data and programme progress information
- Support procurement processes and vendor record maintenance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management or a related discipline
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in project coordination, training support, or funded project administration. Experience with schools, community programmes, or waste-related initiatives is an advantage
- Strong interest in environmental education, sustainability or community engagement
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese); Putonghua is an advantage
- Well-organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
