ASB Biodiesel on the Case of Mandatory Blending of Biodiesel in Hong Kong
Biodiesel, a clean low-carbon fuel, can help address three of Hong Kong’s big challenges – waste, clean air and climate change. Hong Kong has a large and thriving domestic biodiesel manufacturing industry, but most of the 100,000 + tons per annum of biodiesel produced here is exported. In a recent interview, Mr. Anthony Dixon, CEO of ASB Biodiesel, which is a BEC Corporate Member discussed the case for the blending of biodiesel in Hong Kong to be made mandatory. For the full article of the interview, please click here.
"BEC Members Corner" is dedicated to BEC members to introduce their recent achievements, success stories, innovative ideas or solutions on environmental sustainability. Members can provide us an English write-up with a maximum of 200 words, which BEC will reserve the rights of editing and publishing. The submission deadline for the upcoming E-newsletter is 25 June 2014 (Wednesday).
