More and more enterprises and suppliers in Hong Kong are practicing sustainable procurement and production, yet the market lacks an integrated platform for companies to exchange reliable information and to seek new co-operations. In view of this, BEC has launched this programme, inviting local enterprises to join as "Sustainable Consumption Enterprise" and "Sustainable Product Supplier", to jointly establish a one-stop resources centre that provides a sustainable consumption guide and an online directory of sustainable products and services. A platform that enables local enterprises to open up more business opportunities while practicing a more responsible consumption pattern.
This event will facilitate your understanding on the programme and the concept of sustainable consumption. Representatives of businesses will share their first-person experiences on how to achieve sustainable consumption in real business environment. Certificates will be presented to buyers and suppliers as a recognition of their commitment in sustainable consumption. The ceremony will be followed by a Mini-Expo which will showcase a wide range of sustainable procurement options and offer you a valuable opportunity to connect with your potential buyers and green suppliers.
