Ms Susanna Wong 
Chair, BEC Climate Change Business Forum Advisory Group and Director, Planning & Operations of the Non-property Portfolio Businesses Department, Sun Hung Kai Properties Ltd

Susanna Wong graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and holds a Master degree from Ecole Des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in Paris and MBA degree from INSEAD. She is the CEO of YATA Limited and the Director of Planning and Operations of the Non-property Portfolio Businesses Department of Sun Hung Kai Properties Ltd. From 2016 to 2018, she successfully led the team to expand branch network from 7 to 13.

Prior to joining SHKP, Susanna was the Director of an international strategic management consulting firm focusing on retail and consumer goods industry. She has worked on a wide range of projects with different types of retailers in the Greater China region, Southeast Asia and Europe when she worked at McKinsey & Co and OC&C Strategy Consultants. In addition to her 16 years in strategy management consulting, she has also worked at ChinaCare Limited, managing multiple joint venture healthcare businesses in China, the Airport Authority Hong Kong and Nestle China

Mr Hendrik Rosenthal
Director – Group Sustainability, CLP Holdings Limited 

Hendrik Rosenthal is Director - Group Sustainability of the CLP Group and is responsible for the Group’s sustainability-related strategy, reporting and communications. He supports the senior management in sustainability and climate change-related risk management and advises on sustainability matters of the Group’s power business in the Asia-Pacific region. With 20 years of experience in environmental management across the public, private and NGO sectors, Hendrik previously led research and consulting projects in Canada, Hong Kong and Singapore. He began his career in natural resource management and environmental policy, through various positions at Canadian government agencies in environment and development. After moving to Hong Kong in 2008, Hendrik promoted sustainability practices via private sector projects and through policy engagement for industry associations. Prior to joining CLP, he was a senior manager of applied sustainability in Singapore working for a multinational company.

Ms Violet Law
Officer – Policy & Research, Business Environment Council

Ms Violet Law is currently Officer – Policy & Research at Business Environment Council (BEC). She is responsible for BEC’s research, advocacy and business collaboration work on various climate and energy policy topics including climate governance, green transportation and building energy efficiency. She is particularly interested to work at the engineering-policy interface, with previous research experiences on zero emission vehicles uptake, green hydrogen and green steel production. She provides secretariat support to BEC’s Climate Change Business Forum Advisory Group and the BEC Low Carbon Charter. She holds a Master of Public Policy (Environment and Public Policy specialisation) from The Australian National University, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Energy Science and Engineering from City University of Hong Kong.

Mr Mohan Datwani
Deputy Chief Executive, The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute  (HKCGI)

Solicitor, Accredited Mediator, Governance Professional, LLB LLM MBA (Iowa) (Distinction), FHKIoD Mr Datwani is the Deputy Chief Executive, and a Fellow of The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI) (formerly known as The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS)) and The Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) (formerly known as The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA)), which represents Chartered Secretaries and Chartered Governance Professionals. At HKCGI, Mr Datwani has day-to-day management responsibilities, and uses his applied business and legal skill sets to promote good governance by setting technical standards and networking with aligned stakeholders, including regulators. He also contributes to international thought leadership projects and researches in collaboration with CGI, where HKCGI originates from, as part of a global governance profession. Mr Datwani was a Global Partner of a leading US international law firm, in which he had to originate a book, carry out management responsibilities, and transactional, advisory and litigious work with his team in Hong Kong and the US including obtaining a multi-billion judgment in an international fraud. He then joined a client and became General Counsel and senior management of a listed company. He now serves on a number of Government boards to contribute legal, governance and management perspectives as public service, and a Directors of the Year (2018).

Mr Peter Tisman
Director – Advocacy and Practice Development, The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) 

Peter Tisman worked as an administrative officer in the Hong Kong Government from 1983 to 1997, where his last position was principal assistant secretary in the Financial Services Branch, with responsibilities that included involvement in the financial services negotiations under the World Trade Organization’s Uruguay Round. He joined the Hong Kong Institute of CPAs (HKICPA) in 1997 and is currently the director of advocacy and practice development. His areas of responsibility at the HKICPA cover representation and advocacy, technical and professional development work in relation to corporate governance, including oversight of the Best Corporate Governance and ESG Awards, corporate finance, taxation, insolvency, forensic accounting and anti-money laundering. He was also previously the technical adviser to HKIPCA’s representative on the International Federation of Accountants’ Professional Accountants in Business Committee.

Mr Simon Ng
Director – Policy & Research, Business Environment Council

Mr Simon Ng is Director – Policy & Research of Business Environment Council. He is responsible for BEC’s work on policy advocacy, thought leadership development, and collaborative research on various environmental issues that BEC focuses on. Trained as a geographer, Mr Ng is known for his ground-breaking work on ship emissions inventory in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta in which his collaboration with the shipping industry led to the launch of the Fair Winds Charter. He is also well regarded for his research and engagement work on walkability.
 
Mr Ng has over 20 years of experience in academic/policy research, project management and stakeholder's engagement. Before joining BEC, he was Chief Research Officer of a leading independent public policy think tank and was a visiting scholar of a top university in Hong Kong.
 
Mr Ng is also a member of many professional bodies of transport & logistics and environmental management. Internationally, Mr Ng is an Expert Member of the UNCRD Regional Environmentally Sustainable Transport Forum in Asia since 2006.
