Climate change is a global phenomenon which businesses cannot ignore. Climate change brings about new risks, ranging from physical threats to assets and a compromised supply chain, to policy, legal, reputational risks. New opportunities also arise, from potential cost savings from resource efficiency and new markets for low-carbon products and services. These climate-related risks and opportunities all have financial implications.

The Financial Stability Board Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) has developed a set of recommendations to help companies manage climate-related financial risks and for consistent disclosures by companies to investors, lenders, insurers, and other stakeholders.

But what exactly are investors and stakeholders expecting? What information are they asking for? Come join Deciphering TCFD, Part 1: What Businesses Cannot Ignore – Understanding Investor & Stakeholder Expectations to take part in the discussion and understand what investors and stakeholders are looking for and how your company should respond to the TCFD recommendations.

This is Part 1 of a two-part event. Deciphering TCFD, Part 2: Putting the Recommendations into Practice – Insights & Best Practice will be held later this year.
