The Environmental Impact Ordinance is a very important part of Hong Kong’s legal framework on environmental protection. It was introduced 20 years ago and has to date influenced decisions on infrastructure and other major projects. This seminar will be a chance to learn more about how it has worked over the years, and the gains made in terms of environmental protection, as well as to explore possible enhancements for the future.
