According to the World Green Building Council, 39% of energy-related global carbon dioxide emissions is contributed by the property and construction sector. Another report from the International Energy Agency estimated that buildings are responsible for 28% of these emissions. Here in Hong Kong, activities in buildings account for more than 90% of electricity consumption and 60% of greenhouse gas emissions. It is clear to all that decarbonising buildings and the built environment are critical to achieving carbon neutrality. Join this webinar and listen to international and local experts on net zero carbon in the built environment, science-based target, and the importance of full sector and stakeholder collaboration.
