As the BEC Low Carbon Charter enters its third year in 2022, BEC will strengthen support to the signatories by launching new initiatives to facilitate and accelerate decarbonisation in specific sectors.
The objective of this Global Connect Initiative is to strengthen the Charter by linking it and its signatories to international initiatives and/or campaigns on climate action. In doing so, the Charter will be further enhanced by making connection with other global players in addition to SBTi, and will offer signatories access to international best practices and the opportunities to participate in initiatives outside Hong Kong. Learnings from the Charter signatories through this project could be shared with the wider business community in Hong Kong through BEC’s network.
Story of Action
