The global business community articulated an important mindset shift throughout the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (“COP27”) in Sharm el-Sheikh of Egypt, from making pledges to deploying concrete action to decarbonise their business.
Co-hosted by Business Environment Council (BEC), Civic Exchange (CEx), and HKUST Institute for the Environment and Division of Environment and Sustainability (HKUST-IENV/ENVR), this event aims to provide a forum for Hong Kong’s COP27 participants to share their observations with the Hong Kong business community and other key stakeholders. Specifically, this forum will focus on the latest development of the ISSB disclosure standard and transition pathway. Both topics have been discussed widely throughout COP27.
