To improve our environment and to tackle climate challenges, we encourage the creation and development of innovative ideas, products and technologies. BEC is pleased to present a technical visit to two innovative pioneers – Sino Inno Lab and EcoBricks on 28 June (Friday).
Who Are They?
Sino Inno Lab: To support innovation and technology, Sino Group has established Sino Inno Lab which provides a sandbox platform to support local and overseas innovators and tech start-ups in developing and validating deep tech solutions. The Lab aims to foster an innovative culture and build a broader knowledge network through the engagement of internal and external stakeholders.
EcoBricks: An innovator dedicated to creating a true circular economy solution to the plastic waste crisis. EcoBricks converts waste plastic, including mixed and single-use ones, into high quality, low-carbon concrete building materials. They are also one of the innovators at Sino Inno Lab.
Visit Highlights
• Visit Sino Inno Lab’s new space in Yuen Long to explore more than 30 innovations in the lab in PropTech, ConTech, ArtTech and SocialTech, including upcycled plastic brick, air purifying paint and acoustic noise remediation material.
• Visit The Spark powered by Sino Inno Lab -- a soft-landing pad and an exchange point for innovators to facilitate innovators in exploring business opportunities within the Northern Metropolis and the Greater Bay Area.
• Visit EcoBricks’ new factory in Ha Tsuen to learn about the process of converting plastic to concrete bricks.
