BEC is running a project which aims to actively engage with stakeholders in the construction and property management sectors to gain a comprehensive understanding of the latest best practices and innovation solutions for effective low-carbon and carbon neutrality management within these two sectors. The scope of the project includes engagement with sectoral stakeholders, development of carbon management guidelines and good practices for the sector, engagement with the sector and development of a recognition programme. We are now looking for a passionate candidate to join our team to help execute this exciting and impactful project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in stakeholder engagement meetings in English, Cantonese or Putonghua
- Contribute to the writing, editing and proofreading of reports in English and Chinese
- Maintain regular communication with clients and partners to ensure the smooth implementation of the project
- Plan, execute and promote the project as needed
- Prepare materials for meetings, reports and other submissions / presentations as needed
- Prepare project deliverables of high quality
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Environmental Management, Sustainability or related disciplines
- 3 years or more relevant work experience in sustainability / ESG related areas
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is required
- Self-motivated and a team-player, with excellent communication skills
- Proficient in MS applications such as Excel and PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
- Past experience in delivering environmental programme, liaison with relevant parties, stakeholder engagement, report writing and presentation is an advantage
- Proven organisational and multi-tasking skills, attention to detail and capacity to meet deadlines and work under pressure
