We are hiring a motivated and experienced professional to lead a dynamic team responsible for driving ESG consultancy projects and delivering impactful environmental training programmes. Key Responsibilities:
ESG Strategy:
- Formulate, direct and execute impactful ESG projects for a diverse portfolio of clients, including government and private sector organisations
- Develop and compose consultancy and funding proposals, while securing and growing business opportunities to meet financial targets
- Lead and inspire team members deliver high-quality project deliverables on time and within budget
- Stay ahead of market trends and developments to provide expert insights on pressing environmental issues in Hong Kong
Environmental Education:
- Oversee the planning, development, marketing and delivery of BEC’s education and training programmes
- Engage with BEC members and other stakeholders to understand their needs in environmental education and training and identify new opportunities in these areas
- Foster and establish new partnerships with local and international organisations/professional institutions on environmental education and training
- Perform special duties as assigned by CEO or his delegate
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in environmental studies, sustainability, or related disciplines
- Professional qualifications in sustainability field are an advantage
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
- Strong understanding of the private sector, with experience in business development, managing advisory projects, and securing funding
- Extensive knowledge of ESG issues, including corporate sustainability reporting, decarbonisation strategies and sustainable finance and accounting
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, understand client needs, and deliver solutions that meet their expectations
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Highly adaptable, with the ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Candidates with less experience or qualifications may be considered for the position of Assistant Manager
