In collaboration with CLP Power, BEC is organising a technical visit to Hong Kong's First EV Battery Processing Plant at EcoPark on Friday 4 September 2026. Participants will have the opportunity to explore one of the premier modern electric vehicle ("EV") battery processing facilities in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
The EV Battery Processing Plant developed by Envision Greenwise Group, is a green facility dedicated to the sustainable management and advanced recycling of retired EV batteries (power batteries). The Plant features an automated production line and integrates advanced technologies, which can convert retired lithium-ion batteries into "black mass", while supporting relevant research and applications in the field of energy utilisation.
