View and download updated programme agenda
Hong Kong’ s Chief Executive Carrie Lam highlighted in the policy address that the HKSAR Government will actively participate in taking forward the development of the Bay Area to create favourable conditions for diversifying our industries, assist Hong Kong people and enterprises to discover new opportunities, enabling us to capitalise on the unique advantages of Hong Kong in the Bay Area. In this BEC EnviroSeries Conference, we will explore how Hong Kong can benefit from the Greater Bay Area initiative. What are the opportunities for Hong Kong businesses to effectively enhance quality of life and sustainable development of the city cluster by working to protect the environment across the region? Can we promote the adoption of a green and low-carbon way of production and operation across borders to increase competitiveness and develop reputational benefits for HK businesses? How could we take forward environmental protection through a Greater Bay Area approach to develop the regions’ potential through mutual engagement?
